Significant Revisions to Non-U.S. Content Disclosure and Financing Policies Proposed

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency has informally circulated draft revisions to the August 2009 Guidelines for Foreign Military Financing of Direct Commercial Contracts, which would elaborate on, and in a number of instances significantly change, its policies with respect to the disclosure and financing of U.S., non-U.S., and now "host country" content. U.S. Department of Commerce Partially Relaxes Export Controls on Syria

On August 28, the U.S. Department of Commerce Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) published a final rule that modifies the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to reduce the number of export control restrictions on Syria, in alignment with Executive Order 14312, Providing For The Revocation of Syria Sanctions.
