Overview

From Fortune 500 companies to start-ups, Sima Namiri-Kalantari serves as a strategic advocate in bet-the-company cases that require a comprehensive legal approach. As a member of Crowell’s Antitrust and Competition Group, Sima brings significant experience representing companies in civil litigation related to price fixing, monopolization, market allocation, no-poach allegations, and other issues.

Known by clients for her innovative approach and personable communication style, Sima draws on her background in economics and technology consulting to distill complex topics in high-stakes, time-sensitive situations. In addition to defense work, Sima pursues recovery claims for corporate plaintiffs that are victims of price-fixing cartels. Along with her litigation practice, Sima helps clients mitigate risk through her counseling on various antitrust issues, such as vertical relationships, resale price maintenance, and price discrimination.

Sima is widely recognized for her contributions to the legal field. She has repeatedly been named a “Rising Star” in antitrust litigation by Super Lawyers, and in 2023, the Daily Journal named Sima to its “Top Forty Under 40” list, and the California Legal Awards honored her as one of its “Lawyers on the Fast Track.” In 2024, the Los Angeles Business Journal named her to its 2024 Most Influential Minority Attorneys list.

Improving diversity, equity, and inclusion has also been central to Sima’s time at Crowell. From 2018 through 2022, Sima served as the co-chair of Crowell’s Women’s Leadership Initiative. She was also selected for the 2024 Fellows Program and the 2019 Pathfinder Program of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity, a national organization comprised of the legal profession's top general counsels and managing partners.
