Rebecca Suarez is a Counsel in Crowell & Moring's San Francisco Office and is a member of the firm’s Litigation Group. Rebecca has represented companies in complex commercial disputes in a number of different industries, including health care, education, retail, bankruptcy, and insurance. Rebecca has experience representing clients in litigation at all stages, from pre-litigation investigation and counseling through trial and appeal. 

While in law school, Rebecca was a certified student intern with USC's Post-Conviction Justice Project and was on the staff of the Interdisciplinary Law Journal. Rebecca graduated from Wellesley College with a B.A. in philosophy.



Representative Matters

  • Successfully defending a leading health services company in a contract dispute involving the creation, design, and operation of a large health plan.
  • Successfully defending university administrators from claims of civil rights violations arising out of student protests at UC Berkeley.
  • Representing Ross Dress for Less in a dispute regarding end-of-lease obligations.
  • Representing a Chapter 7 Trustee in various bankruptcy litigation matters.
  • Representing Foot Locker in a dispute regarding an exclusive clause in a shopping center lease.
  • Representing Sears, Macy's, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Express in litigation stemming from a large fire at the Roseville Galleria, an upscale shopping center operated by Westfield in Northern California.
