Pierce J. Lee is an experienced attorney and litigator for all international trade and customs matters. Pierce has extensive experience representing clients in antidumping and countervailing duty investigations and administrative reviews. When needed, Pierce is particularly skilled at undertaking court appeals to challenge decisions by the U.S. Department of Commerce and International Trade Commission. He regularly advises clients on complex customs and tariff issues. 

Pierce focuses on all areas of international trade law, including antidumping, CVD subsidies, circumvention, and Sections 201, 232, and 301 of the Trade Act of 1974. He also advises clients on all customs matters, such as classification, valuation, country of origin, tariff preferences (e.g., free trade agreements), quota, marking, drawback, verification, audit, penalty, prior disclosure, and duty evasion under the Enforce and Protect Act.

Pierce counsels and represents clients before the DOC, ITC, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Court of International Trade, and Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Prior to joining Crowell & Moring, Pierce was the international trade counsel for one of the world’s largest steel-making companies and provided legal and strategic advice on the company’s international trade, customs, and government relations issues.
