Pierce Lee


Pierce Lee is an associate in Crowell & Moring’s International Trade Group and resident in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. His practice focuses on all areas of trade remedies, including antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) investigations, customs compliance, international trade litigation, and import relief actions under Section 201 (safeguard), Section 232 (national security), and Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974.

Pierce represents clients before the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration (ITA) and Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), the U.S. Court of International Trade (CIT), and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC). He also advises clients on all customs issues handled by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) such as classification, valuation, country of origin, tariff preference program, quota, marking, drawback, verification, audit, penalty, and prior disclosure.

Prior to joining Crowell & Moring, Pierce was the international trade counsel for one of the world’s largest steel-making companies and provided legal and strategic advice on the company’s international trade, customs, and government relations issues.

Pierce received his bachelor of arts (B.A.) in economics and juris doctor (J.D.) from the University of British Columbia and his master of laws (LL.M.) in international business and economic law from Georgetown University.

In June 2018, Pierce started his two-year term as the president of the Korean-American Bar Association of Washington, D.C. He is also serving as the treasurer of the International Association of Korean Lawyers.
