Manuela Siragy is a counsel in the Corporate Group of Crowell & Moring’s Washington, D.C. office. She concentrates her practice on mergers and acquisitions involving specifically government contractors but also focuses on various other industries (including technology products and service offerings and financial services). She leads the due M&A diligence process and collaborates with subject matter experts on due diligence matters. During a 2018 secondment, she assisted a major government contractor with post-closing legal and contracts management matters, including novations and name changes for government contracts, assignment of claims under government contracts, preparation of subcontracts and teaming agreements, updates of federal registrations, replacement of guarantees and letters of credit under operating leases, and various other matters. Manuela also has experience in drafting commercial and corporate contracts and typically reviews numerous complex agreements in connection with the M&A due diligence process.
Prior to joining Crowell & Moring, Manuela was counsel in the Corporate, M&A, and Securities practice group of a major global law firm. As a native German speaker, Manuela has represented clients from German-speaking countries. She has counseled international clients in connection with business transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, corporate governance, and various other corporate and contract matters.
