Overview

Covering a broad spectrum of corporate transactions, Laura Martinez partners with clients to secure favorable outcomes. Combining technical excellence alongside a collaborative approach, Laura advises clients on their strategic and financial business goals.

Laura works with public and private clients on complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, reorganizations, venture capital financings, and general corporate and commercial contracts. Her transactional experience spans multiple industries, with extensive experience in health care transactions as well as experience in the technology, manufacturing, and sports and entertainment industries.

Laura believes in cultivating an inclusive work environment and works closely with the Colorado Pledge to Diversity and the Health Care Group’s DE&I Task Force to advance the firm’s diversity and inclusion goals. In addition to her work on behalf of firm clients, Laura is dedicated to pro bono work and regularly provides counsel to veterans in administrative appeals. While in law school at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Laura served as a production editor for the Denver Law Review.

  • Regularly advises a multinational managed healthcare and insurance company in a wide range of strategic transactions, including:
    • the acquisition of one of the largest independent multi-specialty medical groups in New York;
    • the acquisition of a leading provider of complex in-home care services;
    • the public company acquisition of the largest independent provider of specialty pharmacy services in the U.S.; and
    • the acquisition of a pharmacy, telepsychiatry and medication management services provider.
  • Advised a publicly traded software company on its acquisition of a U.K. provider of video creation solutions.
  • Advised a manufacturing company on its series seed and series A financing rounds.
