Overview

Judith “Judy” Sethna is an associate in Crowell & Moring’s Orange County office, where she practices in the Antitrust and Competition group. She focuses her practice primarily on health care recovery and complex antitrust litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Judy was an appellate attorney for the California Court of Appeal, Second Appellate District. She was also an experienced litigator at an AmLaw 50 firm in the areas of financial services and general business litigation.

Following law school, Judy served as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Manuel L. Real of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. She also served as a floating law clerk under the supervision of the Honorable Dale S. Fischer in the Central District, where she drafted orders for multiple federal judges on complex civil matters, including bankruptcy appeals, securities class actions, trademark/trade dress infringement, and false advertising claims.

During law school, she served as the judicial extern to the Honorable Carolyn Turchin, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Central District, and was an articles editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review.
