Emily Strickland is a discovery attorney with the E-Discovery & Information Management Practice in Crowell & Moring’s New York office. Emily’s practice focuses on discovery issues in a wide range of practice areas, including bankruptcy, taxation, antitrust, government investigations, and commercial litigation. She has extensive experience managing teams of attorneys and e-discovery professionals throughout the discovery process.
Prior to joining Crowell & Moring, Emily worked for another law firm focused on securities litigation. Her practice generally involved representing institutional investors in large-scale class actions, and advising on e-discovery issues in those cases.
Emily also has in-house experience working as compliance counsel for a professional fundraiser for performing art organizations, advocacy not-for-profits, and political action committees. She also is active in pro bono services, representing various charitable organizations on corporate governance, employment law, and contracting issues.
During law school, she was a Distinguished Oral Advocate and a member of the Family Law Advocacy Clinic.
