Overview

Emily I. Strickland is an associate in Crowell & Moring’s Litigation Group where she focuses her practice on e-discovery and information management in a variety of matters, including IP litigation, commercial litigation, government investigations, and civil litigation.

Emily counsels clients on a broad range of e-discovery issues, spanning the life cycle of data collection, review, and production. She manages a wide range of document reviews, from small review projects to large-team reviews. She has extensive experience planning workflows for first- and second-level reviews, quality control, privilege logs, and leveraging GenAI for efficient and cost-effective document review. Emily regularly advises on cross-border data protection and vendor selection.

Prior to joining Crowell & Moring, Emily worked for a New York City-based securities litigation firm where she represented institutional investors in large-scale class actions and advising on e-discovery issues in those cases.

Pro bono representation is an important piece of Emily’s practice and has included involvement in reproductive rights cases, trans rights matters, and gun control litigation, through both her e-discovery background and with amicus brief drafting.
