Crinesha B. Berry


Crinesha B. Berry is a counsel in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office and a member of the Litigation Group. Crinesha’s litigation experience includes representing clients in arbitrations and state and federal courts in matters such as trade secrets and trademark misappropriation, copyright infringement, as well as other complex commercial disputes. Crinesha also has experience representing clients in employment disputes, including enforcing non-solicitation and non-compete agreements.

In addition to her litigation practice, Crinesha has advocated, through legislative drafting, for clients on local employment-related issues.

Prior to joining Crowell & Moring, Crinesha was a litigation associate at a Michigan-based law firm and also represented clients in capital habeas corpus proceedings at the Middle District of Alabama Federal Defenders Program.

Crinesha has extensive state and federal clerkship experience. She served as a law clerk for the Honorable Jeanette J. Clark in the Superior Court for the District of Columbia and the Honorable Linda V. Parker in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

During law school, Crinesha served as a law clerk at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia and at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Crinesha was also a member of the Howard Law Journal’s editorial board, where she served as the executive publications editor.
