Overview

Agnes is a U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) registered patent agent in the Intellectual Property Group of Crowell’s New York office. Her practice focuses on patent preparation and patent procurement as well as client counseling in the chemical and biochemical arts.

She practices all aspects of patent law, including preparing and prosecuting patent applications, and providing support in opinion work, due diligence, and patent litigation. Agnes has experience with a wide range of technologies, including pharmaceutical chemistry, biotechnology, materials science, agrochemicals, cosmetics, metal alloys, polymers, catalysts, lubricants, coatings, and adhesives.

She received her doctorate in inorganic chemistry from Wesleyan University. Her graduate research interest was in medicinal inorganic and physical inorganic chemistry, with an emphasis on the fundamental aspects of coupled group/multielectron transfer reactions in solution. She received her B.A. in chemistry from the State University of New York at Buffalo, where she conducted research in the areas of coordination chemistry and biochemistry.

Prior to joining Crowell, Agnes was a patent agent at an intellectual property boutique law firm in New York City.
