Chambers USA Ranks 13 Crowell & Moring Attorneys and Eight Practice Areas as Among Best in Class

Government Contracts, Antitrust, and Aviation Practices Receive High Marks from Clients and Industry

Washington, D.C. – June 2, 2005: Crowell & Moring LLP is pleased to announce that 13 of its leading U.S.-based attorneys have been named to the 2005 Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business guide. The prestigious rankings are driven by independent interviews of clients and members of the legal community at outside law firms.

Three of Crowell & Moring's practice areas were ranked among the best in the nation and five were ranked among the best in the District of Columbia. Among the highlighted practice areas were Crowell & Moring's Antitrust Group, currently providing a leading role as antitrust counsel for SBC Communications Inc. in its proposed acquisition of AT&T Corp, and the firm's Government Contracts Group, ranked first in the nation.
