Crowell & Moring Senior Counsel Christiana State, a member of the firm's Privacy & Cybersecurity Group, will be speaking at the ARMA International and Arizona Chapter Event, "California's Consumer Privacy Rights Act (CPRA): What Arizona Data Processors Need to Know," an all-day seminar taking place on September 15th at the FOUND:RE Phoenix Hotel in Phoenix, AZ. Her session, "CPRA and the Fantastic (Other) Four," will take place at 2:30 p.m. and will cover how the CPRA compares to the state comprehensive privacy laws taking effect in 2023 in Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, and Virginia. Topics covered will include effective dates, scope of applicability, notice requirements, consumer rights, and enforcement. She will be joined by fellow panelists Sophie Baum (Hogan Lovells) and David Stauss (Husch Blackwell).
