The American Health Lawyers Association and America's Health Insurance Plans are proud to present our annual Law Conference for Health Plans, Insurers, and Providers on May 10-12, 2006. Join in-house and outside counsel, legal experts, government representatives and other plan, provider and insurance specialists for analysis and discussion of current issues, opportunities and challenges that are transforming the health law environment. Alain Enthoven will give the keynote address on healthcare reform and the transformation of competition in healthcare. Following his keynote address, Tom Barker and Joel Michaels will discuss Medicare Issues and Part D implementation. Additional general session discussions include antitrust issues, pay-for-performance and corporate governance. Breakout sessions include ERISA, healthcare litigation update, fraud and abuse issues, consumer driven healthcare, non-contracted provider issues and more.
Bill Flanagan will be conducting a presentation on insurance fee and ERISA reporting as part of this two-day conference. Art Lerner will also be conducting a presentation on current fraud and abuse issues at the event.
