OFCCP Moves To Eliminate Burdensome EO Survey

On January 20, 2005, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs issued a notice of proposed rulemaking, finally moving to eliminate the burdensome EO Survey -- as the government contracting community has been urging for years. OFCCP is in the process of developing a new system for selecting audit targets.

Déjà Vu? New Executive Order Outlines Restrictions on Contractor and Subcontractor DEI Activity

On March 26, 2026, President Trump issued an executive order (EO) titled Addressing DEI Discrimination by Federal Contractors. The EO declares diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) “activities” “unethical and often illegal,” and imposes new obligations on federal contractors and subcontractors related to DEI programming.
