New GSA Contract Vehicle

On Feb. 21, GSA announced that it intends to proceed with the "Integrations" program, which it called "a groundbreaking approach to the way government acquires complex, integrated professional services, with supporting IT components." According to GSA, the yet-to-be-finalized contract vehicle, which will involve the award of multiple-agency IDIQ contracts, is the product of agency demand for "a total professional services solution" which requires acquisition of multiple services across separate functional areas, in lieu of the acquisition of technology and other professional services on an "à la carte basis" from the GSA schedule.
