Diana Jeschke is a counsel in Crowell & Moring's Washington, D.C. office, where she practices in the firm's Energy Group. She focuses primarily on regulatory matters affecting clients in the electricity industry before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). Diana has advised and represented clients in matters concerning generator interconnections, enforcement investigations regarding alleged market manipulation, qualifying facilities, market-based rates, transfers of FERC-jurisdictional assets, and other issues involving the Federal Power Act and the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act of 1978 (PURPA).
She also advises on community solar and other distributed generation development, and has advised and represented clients before several state commissions in matters concerning generation facility permitting, retail supplier requirements, and state PURPA rules.
Before joining Crowell & Moring, Diana was an attorney-advisor to FERC Administrative Law Judges Carmen Cintron and David Coffman, where she assisted with electric, natural gas, and enforcement proceedings. She was also an attorney at the California Air Resources Board, assisting with design and implementation of California's greenhouse gas regulations, compliance matters, and related litigation.
