Nicholas (Nick) DeLong is a senior international trade analyst in Crowell & Moring’s Washington, D.C. office. Nick provides practice support to the International Trade Group in the complex areas of customs regulations, importing, and economic sanctions. He has extensive customs experience including tariff classification, valuation and origin, and drawback.

Prior to joining Crowell & Moring, Nick worked for an international trade consulting firm as an analyst and supervisor where he managed automobile imports into the United States. His responsibilities included database development, solicitation, retention of Manufacturer Affidavits and NAFTA customs documents, product classification, as well as documenting policies and procedures for standardized process flows. He was also involved in creating and implementing a process that guided clients in the classification of goods using the United States and Canadian Harmonized Tariff Schedules (HTS).

Nick graduated with a B.A. in international studies in 2006 from Michigan State University and an M.A. in economics in 2012 from the George Mason University.
