Brian O'Sullivan is a senior counsel in Crowell & Moring's Insurance/Reinsurance practice group in the firm's New York office. Over the past twenty years, Brian has represented and counseled insurance and reinsurance clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations and litigations involving a litany of substantive and procedural issues and coverages, including both traditional and finite reinsurance, property and casualty, life, accident and health insurance, and viaticals and life settlements, as well as issues arising out of the Federal Arbitration Act.
Brian has also been actively involved in major monoline insurer restructurings and matters involving the rehabilitation and liquidation of domestic and foreign insurance and reinsurance companies.
His previous law firm experience focused on reinsurance dispute resolution, where he was instrumental in obtaining highly favorable results for clients in numerous significant litigations and arbitrations.
