Brent Westcott is an associate in Crowell & Moring's Los Angeles office, where he practices in the Antitrust and Commercial Litigation groups. Brent is a litigator, focusing on complex antitrust and unfair competition matters. In his primary practice, Brent represents companies victimized by price-fixing cartels as plaintiffs in recovery actions, and helps companies identify and pursue claims in large antitrust and tort settlements. He also counsels companies on antitrust compliance.
Brent maintains an active pro bono practice, recently litigating a federal civil rights case through a jury trial. He is also a member of the Bet Tzedek New Leadership Council.
Brent received his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he earned membership in the Moot Court Honors Program and served on the Moot Court Executive Board. During his final year of law school, Brent served as a law clerk at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission in Washington, D.C., where he worked on e-discovery, privacy, and international regulatory matters. Brent received his B.A. with honors from the University of California, San Diego.
