Brendan Sepulveda is an associate in the firm's Washington, D.C. office, where he practices in the Antitrust Group. He focuses on the intersection of antitrust, advertising, and intellectual property law. Brendan counsels and represents clients in both litigation and transactions related to competitor collaborations, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and compliance with the Robinson-Patman Act in addition to representing clients in regulatory reviews and investigations by the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

Brendan also focuses on business counseling, including helping clients manage and protect their brands and intellectual property rights in connection with their advertising, media, sponsorship, licensing, sports marketing, e-commerce, and joint promotion activities. His litigation practice is focused on intellectual property, consumer protection and advertising matters, with recent cases involving copyright infringement, counterfeit and gray market goods, and unfair competition.

Brendan has an active pro bono practice. Most recently, he acted as co-counsel to a small business in litigation over a commercial lease in the Landlord and Tenant Branch of the District of Columbia Superior Court.

Brendan received his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was the editor of the Columbia Science and Technology Law Review's technology and law blog. As a law student, Brendan interned for a year with a major professional sports league where he assisted in-house lawyers on various transactional, copyright, and trademark matters. Brendan received his B.S. in biology from the University of Virginia, where he also majored in history. Prior to law school, Brendan served for two years in an AmeriCorps college access program, where he guided high school students through the college admissions process.
