Zhongdong Zhang is senior counsel in our Shanghai office. Zhongdong concentrates her practice in transactions and international trade. She has advised major technology, manufacturing, and other multinational companies on investments, formation, and operation of private equity funds, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, regulatory compliance, and investigations. She has also advised clients on cross-border protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, including online brand protection, anti-counterfeiting & trademark piracy and trademark counterfeiting enforcement.
Zhongdong started her career as an in-house counsel at a PRC conglomerate. Later she moved to Singapore working in private practice for major Singaporean law firms. With more than 25 years of experience representing and advising clients on various aspects of business, Zhongdong understands the need to provide practical business solutions and legal guidance in a challenging regulatory environment. Zhongdong has been the managing partner of the Shanghai offices of two major international law firms in her career prior to joining Crowell & Moring - Shanghai.
