William Q. Orbe is a partner in the New York office of Crowell & Moring. His practice focuses on investment and financing transactions, including private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital investments, and the acquisition and sale of private fund managers.
Bill's clients include hedge funds, private equity funds, investment banks, insurance companies, and other financial institutions. He regularly provides advice to fund managers and finance companies on securities regulatory and compliance matters, trading questions, and other aspects of their ongoing operations.
He has been recognized by New York Super Lawyers Magazine for Mergers & Acquisitions and Business & Corporate Law (2008-2020).
Prior to joining the firm, Bill was a founding partner of Richards Kibbe & Orbe LLP, a boutique law firm that focused on financial markets.
