Summer Quintana

Associate

Summer Quintana represents corporate and institutional clients facing antitrust investigations, civil lawsuits, and other complex disputes. Summer has the ability to assist clients in a wide range of matters, thanks to her comprehensive experience in Hart-Scott-Rodino Act filings and government investigations into mergers and acquisitions, and has represented both defendants and plaintiffs in antitrust-based lawsuits.

Summer represents clients in a wide range of antitrust matters. On transaction matters, she advises clients on antitrust considerations when looking to merge and counsels clients through any government investigations or challenges to these transactions. Summer represents clients in a variety of industries that includes food, consumer products, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and information technology.

Summer also represents clients in litigation settings, regularly representing them in individual lawsuits, consumer class actions, and multidistrict litigation. In recent years, for example, she has represented clients in connection with disputes arising from alleged anticompetitive behavior. This includes defending clients from these allegations as well as representing plaintiffs in their suits against bad actors.

Summer also maintains a broad pro bono practice. She has represented refugees looking for asylum in the United States, legally changed names for transgender clients, and answered legal questions from constituents during election time. Prior to joining Crowell & Moring, Summer was an associate at an international law firm. During law school, she was staff editor for the Duke Law & Technology Review and was a mentor for the Women Law Students Association.

Summer is admitted to practice in New York and California.
