Sarvesh Mahajan

Sarvesh Mahajan focuses his practice on helping clients negotiate and implement technology agreements. He has significant experience across all stages of IT and business process outsourcing and transformation — helping clients structure or respond to RFPs, negotiate contracts, and manage and implement complex global outsourcing and business transformation arrangements.

Sarvesh has been nationally recognized as a leading lawyer for outsourcing by Chambers USA. He has also been recommended in the Legal 500 U.S. Sarvesh has an established track record of achieving successful outcomes for clients and is widely respected throughout the industry as a highly skilled, practical advocate who is able to get deals over the finish line.

Sarvesh becomes familiar with a client’s operational and commercial needs and acts as a strategic advisor in transactions to manage and transform IT and business operations. His knowledge of the market for technology-based services and the underlying risks allows him to effectively anticipate issues, provide alternatives to meet the parties’ objectives, and negotiate deals.

Prior to joining Crowell & Moring, Sarvesh was a partner at the law firm of Wiggin and Dana LLP. He previously served as counsel for a multinational information technology services company and a large public university providing higher education programs online. In these roles, he advised senior managers on commercial and intellectual property issues. Sarvesh was also an attorney-advisor in the U.S. Department of Commerce.

At his previous firm, Sarvesh served as the diversity manager. In that role, he worked with the firm’s executive committee and diversity committee to support initiatives that promoted diversity and inclusion in firm operations, governance, and client service.

Sarvesh is fluent in Hindi and is a member of the South Asian Bar Association.
