Sarah Moens is an associate in the Brussels office of Crowell & Moring. She focuses on space law, drones law (Unmanned Aircraft Systems), telecommunications law, and administrative law. Sarah also advises clients on various pharmaceutical regulatory issues and assists clients in pharmaceutical litigation.

Sarah is a speaker at international conferences and gives guest lectures at universities in Belgium and abroad about space law and drones. She published several articles on pharmaceutical law, space law, and drones.

Sarah obtained her law degree, magna cum laude, at Ghent University. She focused on space law and telecommunications law (Droit des Activités Spatiales et des Télécommunications) at Université Paris-Sud XI.

While at Ghent University, Sarah participated in moot court competitions such as the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in Washington, D.C. (2009). She was a researcher for the London Institute of Space Policy and Law and for the European Space Agency (ESA) in 2011. In the same year, she was an intern at ESA's legal department in Paris.

Prior to joining Crowell & Moring in 2014, Sarah was an associate at an American law firm and an international business law firm in the Benelux, where she advised clients on administrative law and space law.

Sarah is currently completing a Ph.D. at Ghent University in space law.
