Sarah A. Hill is an associate in Crowell & Moring’s Washington, D.C. office, where she practices in the Government Contracts and Product Liability & Torts groups.

Sarah represents government contractors in both litigation and counseling matters. Her practice focuses on civil and criminal fraud under the False Claims Act (FCA), compliance and regulatory issues, and government contracts due diligence. Sarah has experience representing clients with respect to both internal and government investigations. She also represents government contractors in bid protests before the Government Accountability Office (GAO) and the Court of Federal Claims.

Sarah’s torts practice includes commercial and product liability litigation spanning a variety of industries. She recently represented a major transportation company in multiple class actions related to a train derailment and an international medical device manufacturer in products liability litigation involving the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and the Premarket Approval process.

Sarah also maintains an active pro bono practice. She currently represents clients seeking asylum in the U.S. after fleeing persecution based on their religion, political opinions, or sexual orientation.

Sarah received her J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2015, and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. During law school, she served as a notes editor for the Georgia Journal of International Law and represented a criminal defendant before the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals as a member of the Appellate Litigation Clinic. She also interned with the Department of Justice Office of Immigration Litigation. She received her B.A. cum laude with distinction in politics from Hendrix College in 2011.
