Sander Vogt


Sander Vogt is an associate at Crowell & Moring’s Brussels office and is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Group. His practice focuses on the full range of intellectual property-related issues (including patents, trademarks, designs, copyright, and trade secrets). Sander has experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters for clients in life sciences, technology, and media and entertainment. He also has a special interest in the legal aspects of artificial intelligence and autonomous vehicles, as well as in the fashion, music, and film industries.

Prior to joining Crowell & Moring, Sander worked in the litigation department of another international law firm in Brussels. He has also worked at Crowell & Moring’s New York office.

Sander obtained his J.D. from KU Leuven in 2019, with a focus on international and European law. He also studied at the Humboldt Universität in Berlin for one year as an Erasmus exchange student and competed in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in Washington, D.C. In 2021, Sander obtained his LL.M. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, concentrating on intellectual property and technology law. He has been a fellow of the Belgian American Educational Foundation and a Dean’s Scholar.

Sander is of Belgian-German background and is fluent in Dutch, English, German, and French.
