Samir Aziz

Overview

Samir Aziz applies his expertise in manufacturing, aerospace, machine learning, biotechnology, and the automotive industry to help clients with their patent-related matters. He prepares patent claim charts for patent infringement litigation and drafts patent applications to be submitted to the USPTO using detailed descriptions from inventors. Samir strives to protect clients and their inventions with his knowledge of both patent litigation and patent prosecution matters.

Throughout his undergraduate career, Samir gained hands-on experience designing and building off-road vehicles. As a result, he has particular knowledge of additive manufacturing, finite element analysis, generative design, topology optimization, and structural analysis. His passion for space exploration lead to his research on electronic vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) vehicles and deep-learning-based computer vision on small unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) for pedestrian detection and tracking.
