Ryan Merker is an associate in Crowell & Moring’s San Francisco office in the firm's Litigation Group. His nationwide practice focuses on a variety of complex litigation matters, including ERISA, antitrust, intellectual property, and class action litigation, in state and federal courts.
Ryan maintains a robust pro bono practice by representing individuals seeking asylum or other relief in domestic matters. He is also actively involved with the community through a variety of community projects and organizations. Currently, Ryan serves as a director of United World Initiative—an organization that aims at empowering high school and college students to become agents of positive social change in their communities.
During law school, Ryan was a legal research assistant and a student attorney in Mitchell Hamline Intellectual Property Clinic. Ryan also clerked for the Honorable Wilhelmina M. Wright of the U.S. District Court in St. Paul, Minnesota, prior to joining Crowell & Moring.
