Paul I. Sung is an associate in Crowell & Moring’s Orange County office and is a member of the firm’s Antitrust Group. Paul is a complex litigator versed in commercial litigation with a focus on antitrust law representing Fortune 500 companies in both defense and plaintiff-side antitrust litigation. Paul has substantial experience in all stages of litigation including trial, pretrial, and appellate proceedings in both state and federal courts, in addition to proceedings in domestic and international arbitrations. Paul represents clients in complex antitrust and commercial litigation actions involving eight and nine figure disputes with experience in industries including health care, financial services, and telecommunications.

In addition to private practice, Paul is also actively involved in the community, including serving on the Board of Directors of both the Orange County Asian American Bar Association (OCAABA) and the Orange County Korean American Bar Association (OCKABA), representing low-income individuals in pro bono matters in immigration and disability law, and volunteering his time at various pro bono clinics throughout Orange County.

Prior to joining Crowell & Moring, Paul externed for the Honorable Sheri Pym of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Paul received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley. At Virginia, Paul founded the Korean American Law Student Organization (KALSA) as its inaugural president and interned at the Legal Aid Justice Center in its Child Advocacy Clinic. Prior to attending law school, Paul specialized in the tutoring of the Writing and Critical Reading sections of the SAT.
