Meg Gomes is an associate in Crowell & Moring’s Los Angeles office, where she practices in the Litigation Group. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including health care litigation and intellectual property disputes.

Prior to joining Crowell & Moring, Meg served as a law clerk for the Honorable A. Wallace Tashima in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the Honorable Dale S. Fischer in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, and most recently for the Honorable Jill A. Otake in the District of Hawaii. Prior to her clerkships, Meg worked as a litigation associate at another firm in California and served as a volunteer attorney with the ACLU of Southern California’s Dignity for All Project, working on behalf of individuals experiencing homelessness.

Meg received her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she graduated magna cum laude. She received an M.A. in English from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and earned her B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Georgetown University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
