Mary Kate Healy is an associate in Crowell & Moring's San Francisco office, where she practices in both the Antitrust and Government Contracts practice groups. Mary Kate counsels clients across a broad range of industries, including aerospace, defense, health care, and technology. In addition, she represents government contractors in bid protests and False Claims Act investigations, and she counsels corporations regarding potential acquisitions.

As part of her pro bono practice, Mary Kate currently represents a criminal defendant charged in state court. She also tutors students at the Thurgood Marshall Academy, a D.C. charter school with a pre-law focus, through Crowell's weekly tutoring program.

Mary Kate earned her B.A. in English and mathematics, with distinction, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Maryland. While in law school, Mary Kate served as an associate editor of the Journal of Health Care Law & Policy, as a writing fellow with the Writing Program, and as a student attorney with the Access to Justice Legal Clinic. As a student attorney, Mary Kate advocated for the pretrial release of her clients in district court at their bail re-review hearings and lobbied for reform of the bail system. Mary Kate received the Public Service Award for her participation in the Access to Justice Clinic and was inducted into the Order of the Coif.
