Mark Forster is an associate in Crowell & Moring’s Corporate and Financial Services practices in the firm’s London office. He works across a variety of finance matters, including asset-based lending and syndications.
Mark regularly advises bank and non-bank lenders, with a particular focus on asset-based lenders.

- Advising a group of lenders with respect to the financing of the acquisition of British Steel by Greybull and its subsequent refinancing to include a FILO facility.
- Advising a borrower client working in the advertising sector on the acquisition of a group of companies as part of a £46,000,000 financing.
- Acting for an asset-based lender providing facilities to an independent timber company to facilitate four acquisitions over a one-year period allowing it to become the largest timber distribution company in the U.K.
- Acting for a European reconstruction and development bank on a variety of development projects, including solar and wind farms in Africa.
- Acting for a clearing bank in relation to a £30,000,000 secured facilities agreement to a growing U.K. cinema company.
- Advising a global video game services provider on its refinancing to a €100,000,000 secured facilities agreement and subsequent group reorganization.
