Linh Truong is an associate at Crowell & Moring’s Brussels office and is a member of the Intellectual Property Group.

She advises and assists clients in both contentious and non-contentious matters related to IP/IT law, as well as commercial law and data protection.

Linh became a member of the Brussels bar in 2013. In 2016, she obtained a specialized LL.M. degree in intellectual property and ICTs law, cum laude, at K.U. Leuven.

Prior to joining Crowell & Moring, Linh worked in a Brussels-based business law firm for several years, where she advised both international and national companies on different aspects of commercial, corporate, and business law, including incorporation, capital increase, intragroup restructuring, shareholders’ disputes, and commercial litigation. Interested in the impact of the internet and new technology on trade and business, she drafted and worked on various contracts related to IT, online platforms, and data protection. She also took part in a legal app project allowing undertakings to easily subscribe to an online service in order to send letters of notice regarding an illegal tax/social contribution.

In addition to her main practice of commercial and corporate law, Linh advised her clients on various matters of intellectual property law such as copyright, trademark, sui generis database right, trade names, or parallel import and as a result, she became the go-to person in her previous firm for all questions related to intellectual property.

Interested in broadening her international experience and deepening her knowledge of IP, she joined Crowell & Moring in 2018.

Linh is a native French speaker and has good knowledge of English, Dutch, and Vietnamese.
