Leigh Colihan is an associate in Crowell & Moring’s Washington, D.C. office and is a member of the firm’s Antitrust and Litigation groups. Leigh's recent experiences include:

  • Representing AT&T in U.S. Department of Justice’s merger review and subsequent antitrust litigation over its proposed acquisition of Time Warner.
  • Representing United Technologies in its proposed acquisition of Rockwell Collins.
  • Representing an automotive manufacturer in multiple putative class actions alleging product defects and misleading marketing practices.
  • Represented a major telecommunications firm in connection with an investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice into alleged violations of Section 1 of the Sherman Act.
  • Defended a major hotel management company against former employees’ ERISA claims regarding benefits payments.

Leigh received her J.D., magna cum laude, from American University Washington College of Law, where she was inducted into the Order of the Coif, and her B.A., cum laude, in history from College of the Holy Cross. While in law school, Leigh served as a note & comment editor of the American University Law Review. While a junior member of the AULR, her note on the Department of Labor’s failure to adequately protect child workers under the Fair Labor Standards Act was published.
