Jing Jing Zhang is a consultant at C&M International (CMI), an international trade, investment, and regulatory policy consulting firm based in Washington, D.C. Ms. Zhang helps inform international industry associations and business councils on their trade and regulatory strategies. She has experience supporting clients across a variety of sectors, including information technology, media and entertainment, apparel, and energy. Previously, Ms. Zhang was an analyst at The Asia Group, focusing on that firm’s China and Taiwan portfolio. She has also held roles in the Office of China and Mongolia at the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Office of the Vice Chair at the U.S. Export-Import Bank, and the Brooking Institution’s John L. Thornton China Center.

Ms. Zhang earned her M.A. in Asian studies from the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University, with a concentration in Asian business and development, and published a thesis on China's “One Belt One Road” campaign. She holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College in anthropology and economics and has advanced working proficiency in Mandarin.
