Jean-Pierre Swennen is a retired partner who was a founding member of Crowell & Moring and was resident in the firm’s Washington, D.C. and Orange County offices. He concentrated his practice on all phases of government contracts and international law. He authored books on government contracts fraud and published a number of articles in the procurement field. Jean-Pierre frequently lectured on procurement issues for professional and business groups and also served as a guest lecturer at the University of Virginia School of Law and the National Law Center of The George Washington University. Prior to joining Crowell & Moring, he held a number of technical and managerial positions with The Boeing Company.
Jean-Pierre acquired a B.E.S. from Brigham Young University, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Ohio State University, and a J.D. from George Washington University. While at George Washington, Jean-Pierre was editor of The George Washington Law Review, as well as editor of the George Washington University Journal of International Law and Economics.
