Jane Liang


Jane Liang is an associate in our Shanghai office. She represents clients on cross-border and PRC domestic transactions including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital equity and foreign direct investments. Jane also advises multinational clients on complex outsourcing, onshoring, co-manufacturing and distribution arrangements involving Asia, Australia, EU and the United States. She also has extensive experience advising on general corporate and commercial matters, including corporate governance, audits and investigations.

Jane previously worked at a leading international law firm in its Shanghai office. She also spent a year working in that firm’s Los Angeles office. Her experience in Shanghai included advising several Fortune 500 companies on multiple competitive bids for strategic assets in China. She also advised several leading private equity funds with their investments in China.

Jane has extensive cross-border experience. She advised a consortium of Chinese companies in their investments in the United States, including acquiring a stake in the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California. She also participated in a multi-jurisdictional investigation of a U.S. publicly traded company’s Asian and European operations that involved allegations of fraud, corruption and violations of U.S. sanctions.
