Evelina Roegiers is an associate in the Brussels office of Crowell & Moring, where she is a member of the Privacy & Cybersecurity and Intellectual Property groups. Her practice focuses on privacy and data protection, as well as intellectual property rights. She also has substantial knowledge in pharma and medical devices regulatory matters.

Evelina regularly analyzes data flows and data protection policies and practices and identifies the steps necessary for compliance for various clients. She also assists various organizations in creating strategies for international data transfers. She advises clients calling upon sub-processors in setting up data processing agreements. She has particular experience in data protection questions arising in the pharma and medical devices industries.

Evelina is also experienced in regulatory issues arising in the pharma and medical device sector. She regularly assists clients with launching their products in Belgium or Europe, drafts clinical trial agreements, advises on questions related to advertising of medicinal products or medical devices, and advises on the legal and regulatory framework applied to the contacts between the industry and the HCP. She was recognized as a “Next Generation Lawyer” in the Life Sciences Industry Focus in the 2017 edition of Legal 500.

Before joining Crowell & Moring, Evelina worked for other international law firms, where she developed her experience in data protection, IP, and life sciences regulatory questions. Evelina speaks French, Swedish, English, Dutch and has a good understanding of Spanish.
