Diégo Noesen is an associate in the Brussels office of Crowell & Moring, where he practices in national and international litigation with a focus on intellectual property. Diégo's practice involves complex civil litigation and assisting clients in protecting, managing and enforcing their intellectual property rights.
Diégo is also involved in the liberalization of the domain name space, which is known as ICANN's New gTLD Program. He assists large brand owners in developing both proactive and defensive strategies towards ICANN's New gTLD Program.
Diégo started his legal studies at the University of Namur and obtained his master in law degree from the Catholic University of Louvain in 2010. He was a Mercator Exchange Student at Laval University in Québec (Canada), where he graduated in 2010.
In 2011, Diégo completed – cum laude – an LL.M. in European competition and intellectual property law at the University of Liège. He became a member of the Brussels bar in 2011.
