Overview

Mass tort litigation requires teamwork, and David Seltzer plays an integral role in case management and success. Representing health care, pharmaceutical, chemical, and consumer product companies, David has experience with many facets of claims handling and litigation.

David has significant litigation experience, and his practice focuses on multi-jurisdictional commercial and tort litigation. He has spent considerable time working on complex class action matters involving health care and medical devices, pharmaceuticals, chemical herbicides and consumer products. David has assisted in the management of a complex national product claims process involving thousands of claims as well as related federal court appeals. He has experience in product liability matters and is currently part of a litigation team working on national medical device litigation.

David’s pro bono practice includes representation of Salvadoran minors seeking Special Immigrant Juvenile status to then apply for permanent U.S. residency; work with Whitman Walker Health on name change matters and other LGBTQ issues; and assisting domestic violence victims through work with the D.C. Volunteer Lawyers Project.

At GW Law School, David was a member of the Moot Court Board. Upon graduation from law school, he was a judicial law clerk in the Maryland Circuit Court and spent years in private practice doing both plaintiff’s litigation and insurance and liability defense litigation before joining Crowell & Moring.
