Danielle Rowan is an associate in the firm's Washington, D.C. office and a member of both the Advertising & Product Risk Management and White Collar & Regulatory Enforcement practice groups.

In her practice, Danielle provides litigation and counseling services related to regulatory compliance, advertising substantiation, consumer protection, products liability, privacy, and cybersecurity. She also represents corporations in internal investigations.

  • Represents an automobile manufacturer in fifty-state class action involving warranty, consumer protection, and contract claims.
  • Represents a consumer products manufacturer in trademark and false advertising litigation.
  • Represented a corporation in connection with a securities fraud investigation.
  • Counsels clients on National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reporting obligations.
  • Counseled youth products manufacturer on creating new media contests and sweepstakes targeting teenagers.

As part of her pro bono work, Danielle represents an individual in a criminal appeal in the Court of Special Appeals in Maryland.

Danielle earned her B.A. in English from Trinity College and her J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center, where she served as an articles editor on the Georgetown Journal of Poverty Law and Policy. During law school, Danielle interned for the Honorable Judge John Mott of D.C. Superior Court and clerked for the Children's Law Center. Danielle also interned at the U.S. Department of Justice's Office of Enforcement Operations, where she worked on electronic surveillance issues. Prior to attending law school, Danielle taught high school English as part of the Teach for America program and earned a M.Ed. from the University of Pennsylvania.
