Betsy Derwinski's practice focuses on U.S. and foreign patent application preparation and prosecution, currently devoting a significant portion of her practice to medical devices, surgical equipment and methods of use, including cardiovascular devices and products used in reproductive health technology. She also focuses on biochemistry, biopharma, and materials science. Additionally, Betsy has extensive experience in leading athletic footwear and apparel manufacturers. In addition to patent application preparation and prosecution, she provides patentability, validity and infringement analyses and opinions, and counsels clients on patent portfolio management and strategic planning.
