Benjamin Christoff is an associate in Crowell & Moring's Washington, D.C. office and a member of the firm's Intellectual Property Group. Ben's practice focuses on litigation in U.S. courts, the International Trade Commission, and the USPTO.

Before joining the firm, Ben gained extensive litigation experience as an associate at a national trial firm. He also spent one year with the Rader Group, where he focused on litigation counseling alongside former Chief Judge Rader of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. 

While in law school, Ben completed several judicial internships, including with the Honorable Jimmie V. Reyna of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, Administrative Law Judge Thomas Pender of the U.S. International Trade Commission, the Honorable Thomas M. Rose of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio (retired), and the Honorable Herbert L. Stern (retired) of the Civil Division, 2d Judicial District, Denver County, CO.

Ben is an award-winning commentator on patent law issues. He is the author of a number of patent law-related publications and co-author of the popular Patent Law In a Nutshell book. He has also occasionally guest-lectured at the GW Law School's Patent Law course.
