Intelligence and National Security Summit

September 18-19, 2014 • Washington, DC

The AFCEA International (AFCEA) and the Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA) are co-hosting this event.

Intelligence has existed as an activity of the U.S. government since the founding of the Republic. While its structure has evolved, its core mission has endured unchanged: to protect the nation with the information it provides; to produce that information in a way that protects the privacy and liberty of all citizens; and to be good stewards of taxpayer dollars invested in intelligence capabilities. History has shown that even through periods of profound societal and technological change it is possible both to have effective intelligence and to protect individual freedoms, as long as public trust in both can depend on appropriate accountability and transparency.

Evan Wolff is participating in a Technology Breakout Session entitled "The Future of Public-Private Partnerships, Technology Coordination and Response: Views From Government, Industry and Academia."
