Third Thursday--C&M's September Labor & Employment Update: Obligations under VEVRAA and Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act

September 19, 2013 • Webinar

Please join us for the next edition of Third Thursday – Crowell & Moring's Labor and Employment Update, a webinar series dedicated to helping our clients stay on top of developing law, emerging compliance issues, and best practices.

This month's webinar will address the two long-awaited Final Rules issued by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) in the last week of August, which overhaul -- and significantly expand -- contractor and subcontractor obligations under VEVRAA and Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act.  Our panelists will discuss: (1) the key new requirements imposed on contractors, including the utilization goals, benchmarks, and record-keeping requirements set forth in the Final Rules; (2) elements of the proposed rule that were not included in the proposed rule, and what those omissions mean; (3) the timeline for implementation of the Final Rules; and (4) practical tips for contractors to consider as they come into compliance.

This webinar is scheduled for Thursday, September 19 at 12:00 pm EDT.  We hope that you can join us for this timely and lively discussion.
