Washingtonian Names Crowell & Moring’s Ambassador Robert Holleyman to 2022 “Washington’s Most Influential People” List

Washington – May 4, 2022: Washingtonian named Ambassador Robert Holleyman, a partner in Crowell & Moring’s International Trade and Privacy and Cybersecurity groups and president and CEO of Crowell & Moring International (CMI), to the 2022 list of “Washington’s Most Influential People.” The list features 500 innovators and thought leaders in D.C. “who shape the laws that govern the country and ultimately affect the course of history.”

Washingtonian’s editorial staff compiles the list, selecting those in areas they feel the country is focused on. According to the publication, they seek to select people who share “a drive to understand a policy issue and propel it forward.” Ambassador Holleyman is recognized within the Business & Labor category, recognizing advocates who “fight to keep our commerce strong for employers and employees.”

Ambassador Holleyman has significant trade, international business, economic policy, and legal experience from his service as Deputy U.S. Trade Representative, as CEO of a highly successful information technology advocacy association, and work as counsel in the U.S. Senate.

The publication noted, “A former deputy U.S. trade representative, Holleyman has experience in China, India, and beyond, with a special focus on the digital economy, market access, and cross-border data flows.” At Crowell and CMI, he advises clients on a range of domestic and international policy and legal issues, including in the areas of innovation, intellectual property, privacy, cybersecurity, and investment trade. He is a member of Crowell’s Regulatory and Policy, International Trade, Privacy and Cybersecurity, and National Security practice groups.
