Los Angeles Business Journal Names Jennifer S. Romano to LA500

Los Angeles – June 26, 2019: The Los Angeles Business Journal has named Jennifer S. Romano to its LA500 list of the most influential people in Los Angeles. The list features players in the city’s development whose “vision, energy and resourcefulness are on full display as they bring about changes to Los Angeles that run from the subtle to the seismic.”

Co-chair of the firm's Litigation Group and a member of the firm's Management Board, Romano is a longtime advocate for the advancement of women. The Los Angeles Business Journal highlights several of Romano’s leadership roles in the community including serving as the past president of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, serving as the chair of strategic planning for the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles Foundation, and holding a position on the board of trustees for the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Romano currently serves on the Joint Task Force on the Retention and Promotion of Women for the Los Angeles County Bar Association / Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, and previously served as co-chair of the group.

Romano defends companies against consumer class actions, litigates on behalf of health care companies, and represents companies in high stakes litigation matters. She represents clients as both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts as well as in arbitration and mediation. Her clients include major health plans, retail and consumer products companies, and professional services firms. Romano was previously named by the Los Angeles Business Journal as one of the Most Influential Women Attorneys in Los Angeles.
