Crowell & Moring's Thomas P. Humphrey and Michael A. Kahn Recognized Among "2012 BTI Client Service Super All-Stars" by the BTI Consulting Group Inc.
Washington, D.C. – February 2, 2012: Crowell & Moring LLP is pleased to announce that Washington, D.C. based Government Contracts Group partner Thomas P. Humphrey and San Francisco based Litigation Group senior counsel Michael A. Kahn have been named to BTI Consulting Group’s list of “Client Service Super All-Stars,” which recognizes 30 attorneys who demonstrate an unmatched commitment to outstanding client service.
To compile the list, BTI interviewed more than 240 corporate counsel from Global 500 and Fortune 1000 companies in over 15 industries to probe at all aspects of client relationships. Out of the 272 attorneys nominated, 30 were included on the list for their outstanding service.

They think about how they can help their client. They’re always thinking about what they can be doing better for their client. It’s these kind of extra acts of care that really make a difference.”
Humphrey represents clients in a wide variety of government contracts matters, including bid protests, False Claims Act and qui tam litigation, and investigations of potential criminal matters. He specializes in handling computer, telecommunications, and health care bid protest litigation before the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) and various trial and appellate courts.
Kahn's practice involves federal and state court proceedings throughout the U.S. He has tried over twenty cases to verdict with a success rate of over ninety percent. He has also argued over a dozen appeals in State Supreme Court and Federal and State Courts of Appeal and has arbitrated over a dozen cases to decision (with over a 90% success rate). In addition to Kahn's client work, he has been involved in the selection of candidates for the bench for two California governors and one U.S. senator, and he also served as chair of the California ISO, a public benefit corporation that operates much of the state's electricity transmission grid.
