Crowell & Moring Partner Ian Laird Recognized Among Latinvex’s "Top 100 Lawyers"

Washington – February 28, 2019: Crowell & Moring LLP is pleased to announce that partner Ian A. Laird has been recognized by Latinvex as one of Latin America’s “Top 100 Lawyers.” The list honors 100 lawyers from 54 international law firms doing business in Latin America. Selections were made based on recent deals and business, the prominence of the firm in Latin America, and third-party rankings.

Laird, chair of the firm’s International Dispute Resolution Group, represents a range of clients in international arbitration proceedings involving disputes between corporations and foreign sovereign governments. His experience includes working on the earliest NAFTA investor-state arbitrations involving each of the three NAFTA state parties, and most recently has handled high-profile gold and uranium mining arbitrations under the ICSID and UNCITRAL rules. Laird is currently counsel on numerous investment treaty arbitrations and disputes, most recently involving the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and Turkey.

ILTA Names Alma Asay to 2024 List of Influential Women in Legal Technology
